One of the things I loved in the desert of Vegas was the way the wind scattered the cirrus clouds, making them look like drybrush strokes across the bright blue. There weren't any high buildings around so it was so it was so easy to appreciate the sky.
I just noticed that fluffy cumulus clouds are/ were rare in that area (at least, during the time that I was there); it's mostly just cobweb-like cirrus clouds.
