White Domes

The White Domes are a silica-rich rock formation in the Valley of fire State Park in Nevada.  They're not exactly white (they're more like a pastel ice-cream color), but they're called that because they look white in the midst of the fiery red rocks.  For an idea of their immensity, take note of the cars in the lower left of the top photo.
